Not one, Not Two…

Not One, Not Two, but three free books! It’s becoming a Halloween Tradition for me to release the Paranormal Contact series during Halloween. Last year Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 was released with the first two books being free. Well since there is no new release this year I wanted to make the entire trilogy available for free! So that’s what I’m doing!

Books for Free October 2017

First time doing the free books with the new covers! So even if you have the book, you should get it for free to make sure you have the most up to date cover! 😉

This weekend I will come back with another blog! Hope to see you then!

Have a good one everybody!

Happy Monday morning everybody. Yeah I know. I feel the same way.

I just wanted to give you a quick update. All three of the Paranormal Contact covers will be changing next week. I got together with the team at Wicked Good Time Publishing and came up with three new covers. So I think it will be easier to change the Kindle version first, so expect that this weekend. And then I will roll out the paperback covers after that.

I’m very happy with the new covers. It adds a little bit more of my personality in the covers, I think. I’m also looking to possibly update the Everything Comes Full Circle cover as well. I will keep you posted on that as well.

Have a good work week everybody! Hang in there!

Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 Update 12/1

It’s December! Can you believe it? I don’t know about you but I personally can not wait until 2016 is over. And as we know, the first rule of 2017 will be NOT to talk about 2016.

It’s been over a month since the release of Paranormal Contact Vol. 3. And for some strange reason the paperback version has yet to be released. I think I fixed the problem so within a day it should be available as well. I’m sorry for those of you who only read paperbacks that there was such a delay.

Paranormal Contact Vol 3 (Front Cover)

In other news, the book I’m advising is coming along nicely. I’ve been getting updates from the author almost daily. So I hope to have some updates about an official release in the next week. And as we get closer I will certainly be doing an Authors Helping Authors interview with Austin Graves.

And as far as my next project, I’m firing on all cylinders with it. It’s so different for me. But I hope it will be an enjoyable read. Stay tuned.

Have a good one everyone!

Happy Sunday everybody! Guess what? Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 is completed! It’s edited. And it’s getting ready to be released! That’s right. This is the week. You will be able to get your hands on it on Thursday, October 27th.

Not only will you be able to get that one, but in case you haven’t read the prior books in the series, they will be free for a few days this week as well. So really, you can get three books for the price of one. Does it get any better than that? Nope!

I’m really excited for you to be able to read this book. It’s different from the previous two, but the heart is still there. All of your favorite characters come back (I hope!). If you have any questions let me know! Once again I want to thank anyone who has purchased any one of my previous books. It truly means a lot to me!

Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 is competed

You will noticed there was no Word Count Wednesday last week, and that’s with a good reason. I needed just an extra day, but now Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 is complete as of 7:40 pm on October 6, 2016.

As it stands the final word count is 52,907. But that’s before bonus stuff like Table of Contents etc, etc. So of course the number will raise up just a little bit before it reaches your hands.

So where do I go from here? Well I go into editing mode which will start tomorrow. I just hope that everyone will enjoy the book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

If you have any questions about the book feel free to email me at Jefftrel@gmail.com and depending on the level of spoilers I might just answer you. Check back in the next few days for more updates and various other posts.

And immediately following this, there will be an off topic post as well. So see you in a few minutes!

Saying Goodbye to PC Vol. 3

The weekend is over. I hope you had a good one everyone. I had a quiet one, that’s for sure. But it gave me some time to work on Paranormal Contact Vol. 3.

When you work on a trilogy, it’s tough to say goodbye. I want to make sure that every character gets a proper goodbye. Any stories that they may have going on, I want to make sure there are no loose ends.

What’s left for me to do at this point? Well, one character went out in a blaze of glory. Two more characters went through some rough spots that got resolved in the second to last chapter. Now I’m adding a little bit of levity to show how much certain characters have changed from the start of the series to the end. And then there will be the last scene which I will write this week to end the series.

I struggled with parts of the story early on, but I think the third act of it is very strong. I think it’s a satisfying end to the series. I hope that you will too.

Normally there would be bonus chapter for my next book at the end of the book I’m finishing. That will not be the case this time.Mostly because the target audience for the new book won’t be reading Paranormal Contact Vol. 3. But I do have something special in mind for the end. So stay tuned!

I still can’t believe I’m days away from finishing my fifth novel. It’s kind of mind boggling if you ask me!

PC. Vol 3 Word Count Wednesday #16

word Count Wednesday (2)

Wow, I really need to keep up with my top 5’s or atleast something that isn’t Word Count Wednesday. Tomorrow, I will post something. I promise.

Welcome to the second to last Word Count Wednesday for Paranormal Contact Vol. 3. Just now I reached a bit of a milestone with this one. PC Vol. 3 has surpassed Volume 1 as far as words go. I know it’s more about quality than quantity. But there was a time I wasn’t sure I would have that much to write about. I was wrong!

Last week’s total words were: 46,207. I wrote some pretty important scenes over the last week that will help tie up some loose ends in the series. And really all that’s left to write is the ending now.

The last act of the book to me is strong. I hope that you the reader will agree it’s a great way to conclude the series.

So where do we stand at the end of the 16th week? How does….

49, 838 sound to you?

See you tomorrow for some updates! Until then, Have a good one everybody!
