I’ve spent the early part of my 2018 in a conference call with Austin Graves, and we both agreed that we have slacked too long. It’s been a year and a half since I released my last book and I’m looking forward to releasing under the Wicked Good Time Publishing label with my next book. Austin was beyond disappointed in the lack of sales with his book as well. But we’re going to focus harder to make sure our next books are successes! So buckle up.
I hope everyone had a great New Year’s eve last night. The best is yet to come!
Today marks an important day in the history of me as an author. A little company called Two Dudes, Brews & Books was founded. And even though both of the Two Dudes have moved onto other companies, I thought it was important to at least remember the occasion anyway.
And speaking of Two Dudes, the new paperback covers for Paranormal Contact Volumes 1, 2 and 3 will be available sometime in the next 24 hours. I thought about changing them over to reflect my new company, but the series was printed under the Two Dudes company, and that’s where they should stay.
I am considering releasing the entire Paranormal Contact series in one book. Is that something people would be interested in? I would throw in a new short story in there as well. Let me know!
And there will be some serious writing done a little later today for the first book of mine that will be released under Wicked Good Time Publishing. I’m trying to convince Austin that he should release The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants in paperback as well. He’s wavering, I think!
Have a good Sunday everybody!
There was a part of me that was going to break from my normal blog posts. I almost wrote a Hot Button Topic Blog similar to what would have been said on that old podcast I used to do to describe how I feel about America these days. But I won’t go into that. There’s a time and a place for it, and I don’t think my blog mostly about books is the place for it. But make no mistake about it, it is the time to discuss things. You want to know how I feel? Hit me up. I’ll tell you exactly how I feel.
What I will say is this…. Last year I started writing a book that was going to be ultra violent. It would have been unlike any of my other books previous. But I stopped and looked at the world as it was. You don’t need to read a book about violence. Because all you have to do is turn on the news. I refused to contribute to it. Maybe there will be a time that I will revisit that book, because I was enjoying it. But I am glad that I stopped it when I did.
Today would have been the day that I would have released the new covers for the paperback books for Paranormal Contact, but I’m having a hard time connecting to the website that would have released them. So it looks like that venture is on hold for a little bit. I will let you know when the new covers will be available when I know.
I’m at a loss for words about the death of Tom Petty last week. I’ve always been a fan of him. I had just gotten off of work on Monday and I wanted to see what was happening in the world. So I logged onto social media. One of the first posts I saw made my jaw drop. “Oh no. Not Tom Petty.”
So later today or tomorrow I will be doing a special top 5 of best Tom Petty songs.
Happy Friday everyone. Hope you have plans to have a Wicked Good Time this weekend. Just wanted to stop by and give you a little bit of an update. If you were looking to get the Paranormal Contact series on Kindle today, I’m sorry to tell you that you can’t. The Paranormal Contact Series is being withheld for a few days while the Kindle versions update to the brand new and bad ass covers that were designed by Wicked Good Time Publishing. I will certainly let you know when all three are available.
You want to see one of the new covers? Here you go!
It is very similar to the original cover as far as the design goes, but I think it adds a little bit more to the spooky nature of it.
Speaking of Wicked Good Time Publishing, we are in talks to bring on a few new authors to publish with us. We are very excited about this. The more people we have, the more people will be talking about us. So that’s always a good thing.
We are back in the Club Kayfabe Creative Community (CKCC) Spotlight. We recently talked about a wrestling podcast in the group, but now we are talking about another. Take a listen to Wrestling With Fanboy Mark Jabroni’s Ring Rust. Mark has been a lifelong fan and is very knowledgeable. Check him out!
Happy Monday morning everybody. Yeah I know. I feel the same way.
I just wanted to give you a quick update. All three of the Paranormal Contact covers will be changing next week. I got together with the team at Wicked Good Time Publishing and came up with three new covers. So I think it will be easier to change the Kindle version first, so expect that this weekend. And then I will roll out the paperback covers after that.
I’m very happy with the new covers. It adds a little bit more of my personality in the covers, I think. I’m also looking to possibly update the Everything Comes Full Circle cover as well. I will keep you posted on that as well.
Have a good work week everybody! Hang in there!
So as many of you know my book Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 was up for the best Paranormal Book in the Summer Indie Book Awards from Metamorph Publishing. Well, the winners were announced this week!
I didn’t win. That’s okay. As the old saying goes it’ was just an honor to be nominated, and it was. Would I like to have won? Of course I would have. It wasn’t written in the stars for me to win though.
I’d like to congratulate Nicky Charles for the book “Deceit Can Be Deadly” which won in my category. I might have to go check out the book!
There will be an update later in next week about the progress of my next book. In the mean time have a good one everybody!
Happy Labor Day everyone. If you were one of the lucky people to get a three day weekend I hope you are able to enjoy it. I know I am!
It’s been almost a year since my last book release. I’m not proud of it. But I have no one to blame but myself. But I’m hard at work with my next book. I’m hoping that I can have it released by the end of the year. If it’s not released in December, then it will be an early 2018 release. This book will not be in the paranormal realm at it. It’s more Everything Comes Full Circle, then anything else. A bit comedy, a bit drama and all about relationships. It also does focus on a reunion. I seem to have a soft spots for those. But this is quite different though.
This will be my first release under a new book label. It will be released under Wicked Good Time Publishing.
While I’m temporarily stepping away from the world of the paranormal, it’s just that. Temporarily. I’m kicking around some ideas for future releases that take me back into either The Time Traveler’s World or back to Paranormal Contact. I haven’t yet decided what will be my follow up to this right now. But you know I will let you know as well.
If you haven’t had a chance to vote yet for Paranormal Contact Vol. 3, please do me a favor and vote. You can vote for the next week every single day! Sure they spelled my name wrong. With a name like Trelewicz, are we really surprised? Maybe the next book should be under Treleqicz as an inside joke?
If there are any authors who need a little free publicity, feel free to message me. I’m looking to do some more Authors Helping Authors. Whatever I can do to help other Independent Authors, I’m glad to do. Let me know if I can help you!
In the mean time, have a good one everybody!
Welcome back everyone! Hope you had a good weekend. I just finished watching this week’s episode of Game Of Thrones and damn do I need to catch my breath. Later in the week I will be watching Sharknado 5. And anyone who listened to the old podcasts know how I feel about Nova. Glad to see her back!
Alright, so with voting coming up soon for the Metamorph Summer Indie Awards, what better way to help then to put Paranormal Contact Volume 3 up for free leading up to voting. So you will be able to get it from August 27-31. Of course I’ll let you know as we get closer to voting how you can help me win.
As many of you know, it’s been a while since I released a book. I’ve been working on my Kids’ Anthology, but writing has kind of stalled on it. So while I’m keeping it on the backburner, starting next week I’m starting work on a brand new book. It’s not going to about the paranormal at all. It will be more in the vein of “Everything Comes Full Circle” then anything else. So I will probably start up my Word Count Wednesdays as well. So look for some news on that in the upcoming weeks as well.
There’ll be a new Top 5 coming in a day or two as well. I’m open to ideas if you want to float any my way, just reach out!
In the mean time, have a good one everybody!
Good evening everyone. Do I have some news for you? Are you sitting down? Luckily for me, I was sitting down when I got the news.
Metamorph Publishing is a small press publishing company that was founded by independent author Markie Madden. She understands the struggles of being an independent author because she is one! Well, to help out those authors she has created a yearly award contest for indy writers. There are many different categories and a lot of great authors have been nominated this year.
One of those authors is me! Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 has been nominated and I’m beyond words! Voting will begin in a few weeks, so if you are interested in helping me out, check back here in a little bit and I will share how you can do that!
Have a good one everybody!
I have been lucky enough to co-host a wrestling themed podcast every once in a while over the course of the last three years. And that podcast has certainly grown in the past few years. There’s a lot of loyal fans to the podcast, and a lot of them are incredibly creative.
Because of that, my good friend Chris has decided that their creativity needs to be rewarded. So he created the Club Kayfabe Creative Community online as well to recognize those who have helped spur along his podcasts.
I’m proud to announce that yours truly is a proud of member of the Club Kayfabe Creative Community.
What is the CKCC? I could try to explain it but I think it’s best that I let Chris explain it for you. The Mission Statement: Our goal is to bring together creative people from all walks of life, and give them a platform to show off their talents. Anyone who does something on the internet that could be considered a creative outlet is welcome into our community! Whether you host a podcast, paint or draw pictures, dress up in intricate costumes, write in a blog or in published literature, make music, make crafts, or just show off your own athletic abilities, we want to feature you and promote you along with everything you do!
As you can see, no matter what your interest is there is something that will get your attention in the CKCC. So if you have a moment, please visit their website. You just might find something that interests you. Remember that the website is in a soft opening. So all content has not been set up yet.
Being a part of this group is certainly going to inspire me. I work better as part of a group. So thank you to the CKCC for inviting me along to join the group!
