State of Sales October 2017

State Of Sales

This year is really flying by, isn’t it? I can’t believe it’s already November. Also, and very important, this weekend for those of you on the east coast we change our clocks back. That’s right, we lose an hour of sleep. Why can’t that ever happen when we’re at work? Seriously? That would be awesome!

So I ran a free sale this week for the entire Paranormal Contact series. I’m glad I did, because those are the only numbers I had this month. To quote Kevin Sorbo’s Hercules from a different realm…. DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

The free sales are not that good either, but it is what it is. I’ve said it before, I didn’t become an author for the fame and fortune. It would be nice though! I guess it’s my own fault. I haven’t put out a new book in over a year now. But I am working on changing that!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween. If you want to get rid of any candy you can send it to my house. I will gladly take one for the team. Especially if you have Butterfingers.

State Of Sales September 2017

State Of Sales

Welcome back everyone! It’s the first of the month so it’s time to take a look at some sales numbers. Yeah, just what everyone wanted. So exciting right? Yes, that’s full sarcasm.

So I have some good news and bad news. At least for me anyway. The good news is I had six sales this month. The bad news is they are all from one title. I would prefer to split them up a little bit, but that’s not the case.

And it’s no surprise that the big winner this month is Twisted & Sinful Stories. I have stated many times that it’s the been the most popular book to be released from Two Dudes, Brews & Books publishing.

It has sales in 7 of the previous 9 months of the year. More importantly if we get two more sales, it will hit a pretty cool milestone. 200 people would have purchased the book. So yeah, all four of the authors in this one should be pretty proud of that number.

Moving on from the State Of Sales, the Kindle versions of Paranormal Contact are available once with the new covers. So you should go check those out on Amazon. Next week I will see what I can do about getting them available for paperback as well.

I’ll be back later in the week with a top 5 or something, I’m overdue for one of those. In the mean time have a good one everybody!

State Of Sales August 2017

State Of Sales

Happy Friday evening everybody. There is definitely a chill in the air. It’s almost Halloween time, the perfect time to pick up a spooky book. Or Three! Like Paranormal Contact? Shameless plug, I know.

I did a free sale this week for Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 since it’s up for a Summer Indie Book award hoping it would drive sales through the roof. It didn’t. That’s fine.

Once again the big winner of the month is Twisted & Sinful Stories. It has been the most popular book as far as actual sales goes so far. And that has little to do with me as it does have to do with Jeremy and Morganna and Jack. All of us should be pretty proud of the book.

CKCC Spotlight

Oooh, new graphic for a feature! Club Kayfabe Creative Community is awesome bunch of guys and girls showcasing their works. I’m a proud member of the group. It’s been a few weeks since I turned the spotlight on them, so now’s a good time to do that. And why not talk about the podcast that started it all. It used to just be the Club Kayfabe Podcast, but it was recently rebranded as Club Kayfabe WrestleTalk. Every week Chris, Dan and Glenn talk about everything in the ring. It’s not just WWE talk, as they talk Lucha Underground and GFW sometimes too. If you’re a fan, you should listen in and join the group on Facebook. There’s a game every week that’s guaranteed to make you laugh. Plus I’m winning the game right now. Can I hold on for the next 3 months? Only one way to find out!

Come back this weekend and there will be a new blog. About what? Excellent question. I’ll let you know!

State Of Sales July 2017

State Of Sales

Good Tuesday morning to you. It’s August 2nd so it’s time for a look back at the sales for July.

The big seller of the week has been the most steady of all my books so far. Sinful & Twisted Stories had the most copies sold for the month.  As it stands now, it’s sold 76 copies since it’s release. It really is a testament to the other three writers that contributed stories to the book. So continued shout outs to Morganna Williams, Jeremy Croston and Jack Crosby. That little book just keeps going!

My first book Everything Comes Full Circle got some sales last month as well. So that’s always unexpected.

I think I’m due for some free book sales so there will be some announcements later in the week on that. I might have another announcement as well 😉

Thank you to anyone who has ever bought a book with my name on it. It really does mean a lot. Have a good one everybody!

State Of Sales June 2017

State Of Sales

Welcome back everyone! It’s time to take a look at sales for the month of June. I hadn’t done a free sale in a while so I wanted to take the opportunity to get my name out there and boy did I?

Everything Comes Full Circle was free for a few days. It does not look like that book has found an audience. I guess I understand that. It’s a niche audience reading books about both reunions and theater. Only two people grabbed a free copy of it. But…. one person wound up paying for it. So that’s always good as well.

Paranormal Contact Vol. 1 was free as well. The numbers certainly didn’t disappoint for that one though. Day One saw 88 free copies get picked up. Day Two saw 39 more people get their copy. Day Three saw 4 more copies. So all in all, the numbers for Paranormal Contact Vol. 1 saw an increase of 131. To put that in perspective, it was the second most free books I had given away for one book in one sales period. The only higher number was 192 copies of Time Traveler’s Journal back in December of last month.

Being a part of the CKCCOnline has definitely paid off as I have a fancy new logo for our State Of Sales blogs. Next week I will be post a new scene from the book I’m working on and a Top 5 next weekend as well. So be on the look out for that.

In the mean time feel free to drop me a line if you want! Have a good and safe Fourth of July. Don’t pull a Jason Pierre-Paul. Keep all your digits

Woah has someone been a complete slacker in the past few months. And by that I mean me. But I will focus. I will get back to writing. I will get back to posting. I have a lot of big plans for the future. So yeah.

I didn’t do any marketing at all last month and you can tell by my sales. I had a total of 2 sales all month, and I blame myself for that. Two more books for the little engine that could known as Twisted & Sinful Stories. I guess the saying is true. Sex really does sell. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

There will several posts this weekend as I get back into the swing of things. Hope all is well with everyone.

State of Sales April 2017

Welcome back to the State of Sales for April 2017. If you remember last month I had a big ol goose egg. Well the good news when that happens is I can only go up, right? And I did!

It does help that I did a free sale which got my name out there a little bit more. It’s a necessary evil to give away free books. Especially if it helps me get some sales in the long run.

The leader in book sales continues to be the Anthology that Morganna Williams, Jack Crosby, Jeremy Croston and I wrote called “Twisted & Sinful Stories”. That book has definitely proven that sex sells. With the exception of last month, there has been at least one sale a month since it’s release back in May of 2016. Has it really been that long? I’d say we need to do another one….

The Time Traveler’s Journal also had some sales this month as well. I know I’ve said it before, but of all my books that is the book I’m most proud of. Reviews have been excellent on that book too, which is good.

Stick with me because there’s some exciting news coming up in the very near future as far as this blog goes. It’s awesome when you’re able to partner with people you trust. So I’ll be able to announce that soon, I think.

In the mean time, have a good one (almost) everybody!
