Three years ago today….

Today marks an important day in the history of me as an author. A little company called Two Dudes, Brews & Books was founded. And even though both of the Two Dudes have moved onto other companies, I thought it was important to at least remember the occasion anyway.

And speaking of Two Dudes, the new paperback covers for Paranormal Contact Volumes 1, 2 and 3 will be available sometime in the next 24 hours. I thought about changing them over to reflect my new company, but the series was printed under the Two Dudes company, and that’s where they should stay.

I am considering releasing the entire Paranormal Contact series in one book. Is that something people would be interested in? I would throw in a new short story in there as well. Let me know!

And there will be some serious writing done a little later today for the first book of mine that will be released under Wicked Good Time Publishing.  I’m trying to convince Austin that he should release The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants in paperback as well. He’s wavering, I think!

Have a good Sunday everybody!

Happy Labor Day + Updates

Happy Labor Day everyone. If you were one of the lucky people to get a three day weekend I hope you are able to enjoy it. I know I am!

It’s been almost a year since my last book release. I’m not proud of it. But I have no one to blame but myself. But I’m hard at work with my next book. I’m hoping that I can have it released by the end of the year. If it’s not released in December, then it will be an early 2018 release. This book will not be in the paranormal realm at it. It’s more Everything Comes Full Circle, then anything else. A bit comedy, a bit drama and all about relationships. It also does focus on a reunion. I seem to have a soft spots for those. But this is quite different though.

This will be my first release under a new book label. It will be released under Wicked Good Time Publishing.

While I’m temporarily stepping away from the world of the paranormal, it’s just that. Temporarily. I’m kicking around some ideas for future releases that take me back into either The Time Traveler’s World or back to Paranormal Contact.  I haven’t yet decided what will be my follow up to this right now. But you know I will let you know as well.

If you haven’t had a chance to vote yet for Paranormal Contact Vol. 3, please do me a favor and vote. You can vote for the next week every single day! Sure they spelled my name wrong. With a name like Trelewicz, are we really surprised? Maybe the next book should be under Treleqicz as an inside joke?

If there are any authors who need a little free publicity, feel free to message me. I’m looking to do some more Authors Helping Authors. Whatever I can do to help other Independent Authors, I’m glad to do. Let me know if I can help you!

In the mean time, have a good one everybody!

PC Vol. 3 Word Count Wednesday # 4

Word Count Wednesday

Welcome back to Word Count Wednesday # 4 for Paranormal Contact Vol.3.

I have been doing some writing today, which is why this blog is coming in much later than usual. I do apologize for that! In the latest scenes, we see some old friends making their first appearance in this book. As of right now, there’s only two characters who have not returned…. yet. But they are mentioned. Because the book wouldn’t be the same without them. Who am I speaking about? I’m sure you can guess!

If you will remember last week, the word count stood at 8.607. I went a few days without writing, but the last few days I have been pushing myself more to get it done. That’s really the whole point of Word Count Wednesday. It’s to keep me motivated and on point. And more importantly it keeps me accountable to get the books written. I didn’t want this to be another week that only had 1000 words written during it. So I made sure that wasn’t the case.

So your new word count is 9,725. See? More than a 1000 words. 1,100 words. That’s good right? RIGHT? No. Good, cause I’m just messing with you.

The actual word count for Paranormal Contact Vol. 3 right now is

11, 535.

Have a good one everybody!

Short Story-palooza

Happy Friday everybody. Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned. I know that I have my Holiday dinner for work tomorrow. I won’t be completely healthy for it, but I will make the best out of it!

I wanted to come to you to let you know that a lot of things will be happening here on the blog in the next 6 weeks. In addition to Word Count Wednesday and the continuing adventure of Frothy the Snowman, there will be a few other things happening as well!

First and foremost, while this blog was started to keep people updated about my writing, it could be used for so much more. Every single entry has been about my writing. I would like to think that I’m much more than just a writer. So from time to time, we will be discussing a lot of different issues. Mostly pop culture stuff of course. But you never know.

I am enjoying co-authoring the Frothy stories for you (and I hope that you’re enjoying them as well, but I want to do more. So within the next week, there will be an original short story (or parts of one, anyway). I wanted to go back and revisit some old friends. So we’re going to see how some of my characters from my previous books celebrate the holidays too. So keep your eyes open for that as well!

And then after the holidays are over, I plan on showing you a different side of me. I started a short story that I will start to roll out to you. Hopefully it will inspire me to finish it!

I hope you have a great weekend. Have a good one everybody!

New Scene anaylsis

Happy weekend everyone! My computer has been really acting up lately, so it hasn’t really let me do any writing lately. I think I should still be on schedule for the release that I’m planning for with this one though so that’s a good thing.

But today it seems to be all right today so I’m taking the opportunity to do some serious writing. As of right now I have written 1533 words to the story. It’s all been one scene as well.

While we know a lot about Jason, Greg, Tanya and Katie we don’t know much about the newer characters that are introduced in the book. So the scene I just wrote focuses on three of them. A few blog posts ago I talked about Steve, Miranda and Aaron. This scene I wrote gives them a little back story. It tells how they got into the field of ghost hunting. Well, it tells how two of them got into it. One of them is a little reluctant to tell his story… yet. There is small clues into the book earlier, but you have to pay attention! Will you pay attention?

The End is Near on Volume One

I haven’t given much of a progress report on Paranormal Contact Volume One lately. I have been doing a lot of writing and I just wanted to let everyone know that the book is almost written. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I really think that it’s a huge improvement on my first book. I learned a lot from “Everything Comes Full Circle” and applied it to this book. By next week, “Paranormal Contact Volume One” will be in hands of my editor. Which brings it closer to release.

I was just nervous when “Everything Comes Full Circle’ was being released. Now? I’m just excited for everyone to read it. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Which is the reason why there will be two more volumes. I enjoy the characters. I enjoy the premise. Like I said, the paranormal is a passion of mine. And I hope that it shows in this book.

As always you can tweet me at @trel67 or email me at I’d love to hear from you!

An Honest Opinion Wanted (or several)

Good Saturday afternoon loyal readers of my blog. I have a quick favor to ask of some of you and I would greatly appreciate it.

If you have read my first novel “Everything Comes Full Circle”, I would love to know your honest opinion on it. You can tweet me at @trel67 on Twitter or you can shoot me an email at What did you like? What didn’t you like about it? Constructive criticism only please! And I promise you whatever way you contact me, I will respond personally!

I know one issue people have had with it is that there were too many characters. It is something that I am resolving with my second novel which is due out next month called “Paranormal Contact Volume One”. I have also been told that there is too much dialogue and not enough action or description. It’s something that I have also worked on for the second book. Is there something else? Please let me know. As an author, I want to get better. But first I have to know what to work on. Please let me know.

As far as “Paranormal Contact Volume One” I am in the home stretch of it. So much so that I am thinking all ready about “Paranormal Contact Volume Two”. There will be no rest between the two books. Why? Well, there will be an chapter from the sequel attached to the first one.

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!
