The reason my books are not in book stores.

Good afternoon. Hope you’re having a great day.So yeah, I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I have three books out now. All in the span of less than a year! I’ve taken the last month off from writing for that exact reason as I prepped my last book for release.

I started to think what I could do to sell more books. I mean I know for a fact I’m never going to be a big famous author. And that’s okay. That’s not the reason why I write. Would it be nice? Of course it would. If it happened, would I refuse it? I’d have to be dumb to do something like that.

One way that I thought about being able to sell more books was to have them available in a book store. I mean who wouldn’t want to walk into a Barnes & Noble and find their own book on display. There is an option where I can do that. But to do that, I would need to raise the prices of my books. And I’m talking a considerable amount.

I refuse to. Just between me and you, I haven’t earned that right. I’m a new author with a total of three books on the market. I keep my prices low because I know there are a lot of options for people who are looking to read out there. I want you to spend your money on me.

Perhaps when I write a book that sells a certain amount, I would consider it. I haven’t yet. I’m realistic in my expectations. Maybe I will make it my goal in the near future, but right now I am happy to sell my books through Amazon.
